Among the most notable sites in the Philippines is Rizal Park. Rizal Park, now named Luneta Park and formerly known as Bagumbayan during the Spanish Era, is indeed the location of the nation's hero Jose Rizal's execution in 1896. It acts as the principal kilometer zero for the Philippines and It is where his body are buried. The historic town, which is 58 hectares in size, is home to the Rizal Monument and the National Museum Complex, as well as an open-air auditorium, an Independence flagpole, a musical dancing fountain, the Quirino Grandstand, and a 10-hectare outdoor site.
